This book is designed to help the novice through the advanced player in gaining a higher level of proficiency in all areas of the game of handball. Chapter 1 proves a concise history of the game of handball. Chapter 2 explains some necessary precautions and preparation of equipment to insure safe play. Chapter 3 provides many commonly used terms in the game of handball and lists the rules. Chapter 4, 5, and 6 encompass the fundamental techniques, serves and shots that are employed in the various situations that arise in this furiously paced game. Chapter 7 is involved with singles and doubles strategies that are important to optimal performance. Chapters 8 and 9 cover the unwritten rules of etiquette and various drills that will help one’s game. Chapter 9 also deals with various training methods to supplement your handball game. Chapter 10 explains various tournaments while Chapter 11 offers sample questions to assist the student and teacher in evaluating their knowledge of the rules, strategies and techniques of handball.
