WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL
OF SPORT MANAGEMENT?

The International Journal of Sport Management serves professionals in the fields of sport and recreation management as well as athletic administrations. Its international scope and the breadth of its articles represent the complete spectrum of all these. Scholars as well as practitioners have an opportunity to contribute to the body of knowledge relating to sport, recreation, competitive athletics, as well as fitness and wellness programs.

With volume 11 #4 (October, 2010) the extensive backlog of quality manuscripts has been published through the expansion of the number of pages of this journal, starting with volume 11, #1 (January 2010). With the continuation of this expansion in the number of pages within IJSM coupled with the review process averaging 60 days—it is anticipated that the backlog of accepted manuscripts will be held to a minimum.
